  1. This looks like a GREAT PATTERN! I like how u gave different sized preemie instructions. That is a huge help. I donate caps to local hospital, so these will be great. Can u post an easy bootie pattern of different sizes also? Thank u!

  4. I love this pattern and the wool is lovely! I'll make some preemie ones to donate. I found the pattern for babies but none for adults and would love to make myself one. Can you post it please?
    Thanks =-)

  5. I am currently trying to make one of these hats. I am new to Crochet so we shall see how badly I mess it up lol. Right now I finished with row 3.. at this point is the circle supposed lay pretty flat or be more bowl shaped? (mine is laying somewhat flat..) I like that the stitches seem to be pretty stretchy too.. I hear that most hats for the micro-preemies are usually not stretchy enough. I couldn't find size 2-super fine so I am using size 3 light baby yarn. Is there a particular brand that carries a soft size 2 yarn? I looked around Michael's and the only size 2 I could find was stretchy sock yarn :/

  6. Also, the NICU does not take any donations of hats made with wool or wool blend (the micro-preemies often have negative reactions to it)

  7. Nicu may not accept them but maternity wards would love them as gifts for terminations or still born babes. These families need loving and beautiful gifts for their babes too :)

  11. Is there an error in this pattern? My micro preemie beanie just keeps getting wider and ruffly - not dome shaped like a hat.
